The Beanie's Back

What does having Beanie Wells back do for Ohio State?
After missing three games for his toe injury, Beanie finally made an appearance last week against Minnesota.  He wasn't back in full force, but still had a big impact on Ohio State.  In the first half, he had 80 rushing yards on only 9 carries --thats averaging 8.9 yards per carry!  He had 14 totaly carried with 106 rushing yards and this was only his first game back.

So how is Ohio State going to be affected?  Are they going to be right back on track since he is back an healthy?  The offense totaled 414 yards and QB Terrelle Pryor had 97 rush yards and 2 TD's.  I'm going to say that with Beanie back, it's really boosting the team's confidence.

The Buckeyes didn't overload Beanie against Minnesota to save him up for Wisconsin this coming Saturday. Now if Ohio State can pull off a road victory against Wisconsin, things are really going to change around in the Big Ten.  Wisconsin went down to Michigan and if they want to keep their reputation, their going to have to dominate and hold back Beanie.  But if their defense is as pathetic as it was last Saturday, they don't stand a chance.

I think the key will be when they face Penn St. With Wells back OSU is at least top 2 in the Big Ten, but their matchup against PSU I think will be the game that determines who wins the Big Ten.
